1. General Assembly

The World Brand Organization Conference (World Brands Conference) is the highest authority of the World Brands Organization. It is held in New York, USA or Hainan, China every May.The main tasks are to review the executive chairman’s work report, plan budget, admit new member states, and discuss other important international brand building issues.The Executive Committee is the executive body of the World Brand Conference, responsible for implementing the resolutions, policies and entrusted tasks of the conference. It is composed of 23 qualified scientists and technical experts in the field of brand science, and each member is from the member country where it is located. Representatives of brand entrepreneurs are elected and approved by the World International Brand Development Committee. The term of office is four years, and one third is re-elected every two years.According to the Gentleman Agreement of the World Brand Organization, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council cannot serve as members of the executive committee. The secretariat of the permanent establishment has six regional offices in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.

Organization task

1. Guide and coordinate the work of international brands.

Source of Funding

UNWBO's funding sources: membership fees paid by member states, sponsorship fees from brand companies, and work costs for scientific evaluation by wibeis constitute the "regular budget".

Special funds provided by Pan-Asian Brand Organization, World Bank, etc.

World Product Organization 2018-2019 Planning Budget

1. Approve all sources of funding for the 2018-2019 financial period, namely the budgeted amount of US$511 million for assessed dues and voluntary contributions.

2. Allocate the budget for the 20182019 financial period to the following six categories:

(1) Wibeis scientific evaluation is 141 million U.S. dollars.

(2) Counterfeit brand management and prevention (prevention, monitoring and response) US$118 million.

(3) Special funds for health and safety monitoring of branded products are 188 million U.S. dollars.

(4) Facilitating functions, serving $84 million worldwide.

3. The funding channels for determining the budget are as follows:

The total net assessed contributions of US$520 million from Member States adjusted based on the estimated non-assessed income of Member States.

Voluntary contributions totaling 1.048 billion U.S. dollars.

4. The chairman suggested that the 2019-2020 planning budget should be increased by US$2.03 billion for the construction of the World Brand Organization Building and so on.

"World Brand Organization Monthly", 6 issues per year, in Chinese, English, French, Arabic, Russian, etc.; the monthly report focuses on a specific theme every year. Contains expert assessments of global brands, including statistical data.
