Michael Bloomberg, born on February 14, 1942, was mayor of New York City. He was the founder of the partnership of Bloomberg Co., Ltd. and chairman of C40 urban climate leadership organization.
In 1966, Bloomberg received a master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard University; in 1972, he became a shareholder of Salomon Brothers, and was interviewed by various authoritative American newspapers including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal; in 2001, he ran for mayor of New York City for the first time as a Republican and was successful; in 2005, he was re elected successfully.
